Voted One of Boston's Best Maternity Photographers for the Last Four Years

If you’re expecting, there’s no better way to capture this beautiful time in your life than with a maternity photography session. I absolutely love photographing pregnant women and capturing their glow, sparkle, and excitement about what lies ahead. You can count on me to create the perfect ambiance and provide you with memories that will last a lifetime.

When to Book a Maternity Photoshoot

While you can schedule a maternity photoshoot at any time during your pregnancy, I recommend you book the session in advance as soon as you decide you want one. I’ve found that anywhere between 32 and 34 weeks is the sweet spot. Your baby bump is a lovely shape and you’ve made it through the often difficult first trimester. You likely have more energy now and can move around and take photos without a great deal of discomfort.

How to Prepare for Your Maternity Photoshoot

Your maternity photoshoot is all about you and the new life you’re about to bring into this world. It should reflect your personality and style. You can wear anything that makes you feel comfortable and confident. I recommend a well-fitted shirt or top that contours your baby belly and curves. When it comes to colors, go with neutrals like white, beige, black, navy, or grey.

These can show off your cute little bump and eliminate distractions. A long, flowy dress is always a great option! You can do your hair and makeup any way you’d like but I suggest keeping it simple so I can highlight the natural beauty of your pregnancy.

We will schedule a phone call prior to your shoot to discuss clothing and location. Rest assured that I will provide you with various suggestions! I know a lot of beautiful locations around Boston area and different websites that sell lovely maternity clothes.

I come well equipped to all of my sessions, and bring an awesome portable changing room, so you can use more than one outfit.

Why Book a Maternity Photoshoot

Pregnancy is a beautiful blessing that doesn’t happen every day. Maternity photos can give you the chance to capture this moment in time so that you can truly preserve your pregnancy. Once your little one grows up, you can share these special shots with them.

Maternity photos can also allow you to have some fun during your pregnancy journey. I strive to make each maternity photoshoot a seamless and enjoyable experience for every client. You've gone through a lot physically and emotionally these past several months and deserve to do something nice for yourself.

As a woman and a mother, I truly believe there is nothing better than capturing the essence of what we as women do on the planet: give birth to other humans.
