My first exposure (no pun intended) in photography education goes way back when I was growing up. My dad gave me his old rangefinder camera when I was around 14 and taught me how to use it, athough I didn’t get a lot of good pictures (that camera was not easy to operate). And even earlier I remember helping him rinse family photographs in our small bathroom turned into darkroom.
But years later I was invited into a real darkroom by my friend, who was taking a photo class. Suddenly I was shocked to watch the images magically appear on a plain white paper. I stayed there for a long time watching the process over and over again and didn’t mind the strong smell of chemicals, not like I did when I was a child. Shortly after that, I decided to get a proper training in photography myself and I am so happy that I did.
I can’t imagine my life without photography. I love what happens in and out of the camera: the process of brainstorming ideas for the shoot, the shooting itself, the post processing. I get to see a lot of happy families and meet wonderful people along the way. Photography has given me the ability to capture and remember beautiful and sometimes subtle moments of life and I am very grateful for that.
Whatever your next project might be, don’t hesitate to contact me and I will be happy to work with you, listen to your needs and create memorable images!
With my images I am telling the story, that you can tell your own children.
